Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Manager of System and Operations Audit, the Senior Manager Auditor II will be responsible for conducting detailed risk-based internal audits of ICT infrastructure, data governance, and IT-related processes. The role includes supporting the Internal Audit Directorate in maintaining robust IT systems, offering guidance to team members, and ensuring all audit objectives are achieved. This position requires a strategic thinker who can balance regulatory compliance with practical solutions to improve system performance and data integrity. The successful candidate will champion process improvement, ensure implementation of audit recommendations, and provide management and the Board with actionable insights.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct assurance and consulting engagements on ICT infrastructure and services
Provide assurance on data governance and information security
Support and maintain IT infrastructure within the audit directorate
Guide audit teams on IT-related assignments
Perform detailed planning and risk assessments for ICT audits
Ensure audit work focuses on high-risk areas
Present clear, actionable recommendations and ensure their implementation
Prepare and deliver comprehensive audit reports
Conduct customer research and analyze feedback to improve service delivery
Ensure compliance with service-related regulatory requirements
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, Informatics, Telecommunications, Artificial Intelligence, Actuarial Science, or related fields
Experience:
Minimum of 13 years of experience in the relevant field
Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership and people management
In-depth understanding of IT systems and risk management
Analytical thinking and decision-making ability
Proficiency in project implementation and audit methodologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High integrity and sound judgment
Results-oriented and self-driven
Strong business acumen and customer focus
