Senior Lecturers job at Victoria University
Victoria University
Assistant lecturers at Victoria University are academic staff members who support the teaching and learning activities of the university. They are usually employed on a fixed-term or casual basis, and they may have a research component in their role. Assistant lecturers work under the supervision of senior lecturers or professors, and they are expected to contribute to the development and delivery of courses, assessments, tutorials, workshops and other learning resources. Assistant lecturers also provide feedback and guidance to students, and they participate in academic committees and professional development activities. Assistant lecturers at Victoria University have the opportunity to enhance their skills and knowledge in their discipline, and to pursue further qualifications or career advancement.
Preparing and delivering lectures, tutorials, workshops, and seminars
Developing and marking assessments, exams, and assignments
Providing feedback and guidance to students
Supervising student projects and research activities
Participating in curriculum development and review
Collaborating with other academic staff and external stakeholder
Engaging in professional development and scholarly activities

Applicants should be proficient in the fields of Pharmacy Practice and Pharmaceutical Sciences,Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Biochemistry, Medicinal Chemistry Pharmacognosy.
You must currently be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Uganda as a pharmacist.
A PhD and relevant teaching experience are required for Senior Lecturers.
