Job Description
As a Senior Developer, you will work within a defined framework of programming standards and practices. You will be responsible for building scalable and robust systems that meet evolving business needs. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using modern engineering methodologies such as Agile and DevOps. Your role will encompass all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including continuous integration and delivery, automation, system integration, security engineering, and observability.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Design, code, test, debug, and maintain high-quality software
Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile and DevOps practices
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Develop APIs, microservices, and integrate systems
Utilize cloud platforms and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools
Monitor and improve system observability and performance
Participate in incident response and post-incident analysis
Ensure compliance with ITSM practices such as change and incident management
Drive innovation through the use of automation and modern development tools

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Educational Qualifications:
First Degree in Information Technology or related field
Experience Required:
5–7 years of experience translating business requirements into technical specifications and developing software solutions
8–10 years of experience in modern engineering practices (Agile, DevOps, etc.) and specialisation in at least one IT discipline
