Job Description
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in analyzing data streams and static datasets to design algorithms, build predictive models, and deliver actionable insights. You will translate business challenges into data science applications, communicate solutions clearly, and contribute to large-scale software systems and evolving data architectures. This position requires strong technical proficiency with programming, analytics, and BI tools, as well as excellent stakeholder management skills. The role is based remotely, but candidates must be located within CET timezone ± 3 hours.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop tools to process and analyze both streaming and static datasets.
Translate business challenges into practical data science solutions.
Communicate complex solutions in clear, understandable terms for non-experts.
Design algorithms, build models, and create prototypes across business areas.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of software solutions and large-scale applications.
Support evolving data architectures and systems.
Combine multiple data sources to solve business problems and deliver actionable insights.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science.
Proficiency in SAS, SQL, R, and/or Python.
Experience with BI tools such as Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI.
Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills (including PowerPoint).
Exposure to Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Hive) is an advantage.
Applied knowledge of machine learning and data science techniques.
Hands-on experience in data mining and model building.
Strong communication skills in English (both technical and non-technical contexts).
Must be located in CET timezone ± 3 hours.
