Job Description
The Senior CoE Digital Delivery Manager is responsible for leading the Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Digital Delivery, focusing on ITSM automation, monitoring, and observability frameworks. The role involves developing strategic roadmaps, defining governance standards, and implementing best practices for ITSM processes and tools. The incumbent will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation initiatives, oversee tool integration (ServiceNow, Dynatrace, ELK, SolarWinds), ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements, and lead a high-performing team of engineers and experts. Additionally, the manager will monitor performance metrics, champion innovation, and build vendor relationships to support cutting-edge digital delivery practices.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Lead the Digital Delivery CoE for ITSM automation, monitoring, and observability.
Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for ITSM digital delivery and monitoring solutions.
Define governance models, standards, and best practices for ITSM automation and observability.
Collaborate with CX, IT Operations, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security teams to drive digital initiatives.
Oversee implementation and optimization of ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Dynatrace, ELK, SolarWinds).
Monitor KPIs, SLAs, incident trends, and system health metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
Manage vendor relationships for ITSM and monitoring tools.
Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies in ITSM, monitoring, and observability.
Mentor and develop a high-performing technical team.
Ensure compliance with IT security, regulatory frameworks, and industry standards.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
University degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 6 years’ experience in IT Service Management, monitoring/observability, or digital delivery leadership.
Proven track record leading Centres of Excellence or large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
Strong knowledge of ITIL framework and ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy).
Experience with monitoring/observability platforms (Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus).
Proficiency in data analytics, incident management, and proactive monitoring.
Familiarity with DevOps, Agile delivery models, and cloud computing platforms.
Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, operating systems, and databases.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
Project management skills/certifications desirable.
Added advantages: Unix/Linux & CCNA certifications, RPA skills.
