Job Description
The Senior Accountant will lead the finance and accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, effective cash flow management, efficient use of resources, and full compliance with statutory and tax requirements. The role supports management decision-making aimed at profitability and sustainable business growth.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Manage the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements
Maintain and monitor internal control systems to prevent errors and fraud
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to support management decision-making
Ensure timely submission of statutory returns, including taxes and regulatory filings
Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations for cost optimization
Oversee accounts payable, receivables, payroll, and cash flow management
Lead audits and liaise with external auditors as required
Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff
