Job Description
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in strengthening the finance function by ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and strategic financial support. Working closely with the Head of Finance, the role supports budgeting, audits, reconciliations, risk management, and data-driven decision-making to enhance business performance and working capital management.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Support annual budgeting through forecasting and detailed financial analysis
- Lead internal and external financial reporting with the Head of Finance
- Prepare and review statutory and management accounts
- Review ledgers to ensure accurate and timely posting of transactions
- Lead bank, cash, payables, receivables, and inventory reconciliations
- Coordinate internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations
- Support strategic financial planning and decision-making
- Conduct costing, pricing, and financial data analysis
- Strengthen and enforce internal financial controls
- Monitor cash management, payables, receivables, and credit control
- Oversee risk management policies and compliance
- Support debt collection to improve working capital efficiency
