Supervise the external security team.
Conduct regular operational meetings to review, monitor and upgrade the performance of the external security team.
Conduct frequent Hospital checks to ensure adherence to the standard operating procedures by the external security team
Implement and enforce safety regulations and take records of all assets taken out and brought back into the premises.
To patrol the Hospital premises at regular intervals, record every security related incident in the security diary (SD) and ensure to investigate any security breach incident in accordance with the security best practices.
Maintain an Up-to-date log of all incidents, complaints and occurrences and ensure appropriate actions are taken to resolve them in a timely manner.
Manage security and safety of Hospital staff, clients and care takers and set the intruder alarm, CCTV system including the investigation of alarm activation.
Listen to and resolve all employees and clients queries and complaints in accordance with the security best practices
Report and investigate occurrences of accidents, complaints, criminal activity, and crisis situations.
Ensure proper security screening of all people accessing the facility and collaborate with the security to provide secure environment.
Monitor the arrival and departure of contractors, clients, visitors, and attendants to ensure that they have the correct permission into the facility
Any other duties as may arise.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Proficient in security protocols and procedures
Understanding of emergency response procedures
Excellent customer service skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to use security technology and software
Knowledge/Qualifications and Experience
A Minimum of a Diploma from a Recognized Higher Institution of Learning
Experience in Security with at least 03 years in a supervisory role
Experience in CCTV, radio control operations and police investigation is an added advantage
