Security personnel may intervene in conflicts, disputes, or disturbances occurring on the premises and resolve them peacefully and professionally. They use communication skills, de-escalation techniques, and conflict resolution strategies to defuse tense situations and maintain order.
Surveillance: Security personnel monitor premises, facilities, or designated areas using surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras, monitors, and patrols. They keep a watchful eye for any suspicious activity, unauthorized access, or security breaches.
Access Control: Security personnel control access to restricted areas by checking credentials, verifying identification, and granting or denying entry to authorized personnel, visitors, or vehicles. They may use access control systems such as key cards, biometric scanners, or security gates to enforce access policies.
Patrols and Inspections: Security personnel conduct regular patrols and inspections of designated areas to deter criminal activity, ensure safety, and detect potential security threats. They check doors, windows, gates, and other entry points for signs of tampering or unauthorized access.
Emergency Response: Security personnel are trained to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies such as fires, medical incidents, accidents, or security breaches. They follow established protocols, procedures, and emergency response plans to mitigate risks, protect people and property, and coordinate with emergency services if necessary.
Conflict Resolution: Security personnel may intervene in conflicts, disputes, or disturbances occurring on the premises and resolve them peacefully and professionally. They ensure that equipment is functioning correctly and report any malfunctions or defects for repairs or maintenance.
Customer Service: In roles where security personnel interact with the public, customers, or employees, they provide assistance, directions, and information as needed. They represent the organization professionally, answer inquiries, and offer support to enhance the overall customer experience.
Compliance and Policy Enforcement: Security personnel enforce organizational policies, procedures, and regulations related to security, safety, and conduct. They ensure compliance with security protocols, standards, and legal requirements to protect people, property, and assets.
Training and Awareness: Security personnel participate in training programs to enhance their skills, knowledge, and awareness of security best practices, emergency procedures, and relevant regulations. They may also conduct security awareness training for employees or tenants to promote a culture of safety and security.
Teamwork and Collaboration: Security personnel work collaboratively with colleagues, supervisors, law enforcement agencies, and other stakeholders to maintain a secure and safe environment. Bachelor’s Degree or Its' Equivalent in Business Related Disciplines from A Recognized Institution.
Minimum of at Least Three (3) Years Hands On Security Forces in Uganda
