Job Description
As a Security Officer at G4S, the selected candidate will be part of a security team responsible for ensuring the safety and security of people, property, and premises. This role involves both foot and vehicle patrols, monitoring surveillance equipment, securing access points, and responding to emergency or suspicious activity. The position requires physical fitness, integrity, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to follow detailed instructions and prepare accurate reports.

How to Apply
Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of designated areas
Control access to buildings and restricted areas
Monitor CCTV and other surveillance systems
Secure people, property, and equipment on-site
Respond to emergency situations and alarms
Enforce regulations and report violations
Prepare incident reports and log daily activities
Prevent unauthorized access, vandalism, and theft
Assist in crowd control and customer service during events if needed
Liaise with site supervisors and operational teams
Minimum Requirements:
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with at least a D+ grade
Computer literacy (basic level)
Ability to read and interpret regulations and instructions
Ability to write clear and accurate reports
Physically fit (minimum height of 5’8” for men and 5’5” for women)
Clean criminal record
Aged between 25 and 35 years
Required Documentation:
Original KCSE certificate
Kenyan National ID (original)
Valid email address
Physical fitness certificate from a government hospital
Two reference letters from traceable referees (screening required)
Key Competencies:
High level of integrity and honesty
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Observational skills and attention to detail
Customer-oriented attitude
