The Security Guard at Babies and Mothers Alive Foundation plays a crucial role in safeguarding the organization's premises, and assets, and ensuring a secure environment for staff and visitors. This position requires a vigilant and responsible individual committed to maintaining a safe and orderly atmosphere.
The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the staff, clients, visitors and assets of the organization.
The Security Guard will perform regular patrols, monitor CCTV cameras, respond to alarms and incidents, and report any suspicious or illegal activities.
The Security Guard will also assist with emergency preparedness and evacuation procedures, and comply with all relevant policies and regulations.
To qualify , the candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid security guard license, and at least two years of experience in a similar role.
The candidate must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong sense of responsibility and integrity, and the ability to work under pressure and in a team.
The candidate must be physically fit, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
As we scale our activities and programs, we look for additional Staff members in the Kasese and Kabarole districts.
