Job Description
As the Sector Head – Energy & Infrastructure, you will define and implement the business strategy for the sector within the Nigerian BCB segment. Your role will focus on identifying target markets, setting the risk appetite, and ensuring financial growth. You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing strategic and technical guidance to relationship managers and ensuring the team meets financial performance goals. The position demands deep sectoral expertise, leadership, and a strong understanding of financial services within the energy and infrastructure domain.

How to Apply
Define and drive the Energy & Infrastructure strategy within BCB Nigeria.
Determine the sector’s risk appetite, business focus, and target markets.
Provide sector-specific expertise to guide Business & Commercial Banking relationship managers.
Grow the sector’s balance sheet and profitability by increasing market share and customer wallet share.
Support relationship managers in client acquisition, solutioning, and retention.
Offer strategic insights and help structure deals in line with bank policies.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to unlock growth opportunities.
Stay up to date with sector trends, regulatory developments, and market dynamics.

Qualifications:
A first degree in Geosciences, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or any related field.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years in Business & Commercial Banking, with a strong focus on relationship management.
At least 7–10 years of hands-on experience in the Energy & Infrastructure sector.
Proven ability to apply banking risk management frameworks in client servicing.
