Job Description
The Sector Head will be responsible for defining and executing the Energy & Infrastructure strategy in Business & Commercial Banking (BCB) Nigeria. This includes determining the appropriate risk appetite, identifying the right business focus, and aligning target markets to grow the balance sheet and profitability of the sector. As a Subject Matter Expert, the incumbent will support relationship managers with in-depth knowledge and insights, helping to increase market share, deepen customer relationships, and contribute to the headline earnings of the sector.

How to Apply
Define the strategic direction for the Energy & Infrastructure sector in BCB Nigeria.
Act as the sector SME to guide relationship managers on business development and risk management.
Identify and pursue opportunities to grow the sector’s profitability, customer base, and wallet share.
Drive balance sheet growth by developing tailored financial solutions.
Provide input into credit assessments and collaborate on client engagements.
Ensure alignment with the bank’s risk management frameworks and appetite.
Monitor sector performance and report progress against strategic targets.
Maintain a deep understanding of market dynamics, regulations, and industry trends.

Qualifications:
A first degree in Geosciences, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
Experience:
At least 10 years of experience in Business & Commercial Banking.
Minimum 7–10 years in relationship management within the Energy & Infrastructure sector.
Strong expertise and exposure to energy and infrastructure industries.
Practical experience applying banking risk frameworks to customer management.
