Coca-Cola Beverages Africa [CCBA] is the largest African Coca-Cola Bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the
continent. Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda Limited is a subsidiary of CCBA. We are currently seeking to recruit a SHEQ Manager.
As a SHEQ Manager, you will report directly to the Manufacturing Manager
Develop a SHEQ system implementation plan in liaison with the Business system Coordinator
Build relationship with Government Sectors and keep updated with new regulations.
Manage product and package quality through facilitating investigation of deviations and being proactive to implement corrective action
Coordinate and ensure review of Plant risk assessment
Ensure effective Consumer response Programme
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure all SHEQ issues have been considered and included into Capital Expenditures (Capex projects)
Ensure SHEQ training and induction is conducted for all Stake holders at all levels.
Formulate and manage annual Department budget
Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
Bachelor’s in Food science or Industrial Chemistry, Environmental Management or related field.
Three years of leadership experience in a SHEQ role in the FMCG industry preferably a Bottling Plant.
Knowledge of Quality Management system, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) and ISO shall be an added advantage.
Must have advanced computer skills.
Must be a strong analytical thinker with decision making ability
Must have a disciplined ability to drive achievement of Functional team objectives against Strategy
