Revenue Assurance Analyst job at Kyosk

We are looking to hire a numerical driven candidate to fill the Revenue Assurance Analyst role in our business. The role holder will take accountability for the end revenue accounting in the business including championing best practices in revenue accounting within the business.
Revenue Accountant Responsibilities and Duties:
Revenue Management: Perform company accounting duties and determine revenue and expenditure. Ensure no revenue loss leakage - all billed goods & services are fully settled and on time. Be the first point of contact for payment aggregators from whom we collect for invoiced goods to ensure amounts paid for goods and services delivered by KYOSK are duly received and credited to KYOSK bank accounts. Perform record keeping of all financial operations.
Risk Management: Work with operations / dispatch to resolve all issues that could occasion revenue loss / leakage e.g. payment reversals / recalls for invoiced and dispatched goods. Analyze revenue performance and analytics to identify risks and opportunities for improvements. Ensure compliance with key controls in the order to cash cycle, accurate reporting, audit requirements and external reporting requirements. Update and maintain the company’s revenue recognition policy as business processes evolve, emerging trends and accounting standards change.
Financial Analysis: Work with the account team to perform financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities. Determine monthly revenue forecast and perform monthly revenue analysis and create monthly revenue reports to the management.
Reconciliation: Oversee financial transaction and process invoices promptly; Perform reconciliation of account receivable and payable. Identify and resolve outstanding balances monthly.
Audit: Assist in financial audits and implement audit recommendations. Assist in the quarterly and year-end audit process, actively working with external auditors to ensure that the interpretation of revenue recognition accounting standards is consistent and compliant with company SOPs and best practice.
Reporting: Review and interpret contracts for proper billing terms and assist in management aspects of the revenue accounting process. Create and distribute monthly invoices based on contract and reporting data.

Minimum Skills and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field with experience in revenue recognition is a plus.
Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in finance with at least 2 years in a revenue accounting role.
Good knowledge accounting principles and end to end full accounting process.
Punctual, reliable and must have strong communication skill.
Knowledge about MS office, excel-Advance excel is desired.
Able to work in a team and produce quality output under tight deadlines.
Quick learner with a positive attitude.
Must be highly organized and able to deal with a high volume of data.
Able to work proactively and independently with a team in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working in compliance with company accounting standard and guidelines.
Demonstrated experience using software applications for company accounting operations.
