To enhance and improve the cash flow of the company through effective credit management; ensuring that all revenues are appropriately disclosed and that work is guided through the application of GAAPS and IFRS.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enforce/Implement the company's credit policy.
Maintain up to date correspondence files of all key accounts.
Works closely with the Commercial Managers and Business Executives to ensure that there is completeness and accuracy in capturing of revenues.
Vet adverts to run on both credit and upfront modes of payment, ensuring that all customer accounts are accurate at all times and all direct adverts are aired & billed respectively.
Timely preparation of various credit control reports including but not limited to a continuous review of existing credit customers.
Daily reconciliation of the debtor's control account and the sales ledger to ensure that any reconciling items are resolved on a daily basis.
Posting and allocation of customer payments. Maintenance of an accurate sales commission schedule and reconciliation of the same to the sales ledger on a weekly/monthly basis.
Reconciliation of monthly revenue with Traffic Control personnel to ensure accuracy and appropriate disclosure. Reviews sub-ledgers to check for miss-postings and recommend corrective actions.
Timely preparation of monthly schedules, debtor's ageing analysis, revenue reconciliation, unearned revenues and one-time debtors, DSO & collection reports as well as credit notes issued/pending reports.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Academic:
University Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Accounting and Finance, Statistics or any other related field from an accredited institution
Professional: Certified Public Accountant with relevant professional qualifications e.g. ACCA, CPA.
Experience: At least 2-3 years' working experience in Finance and Accounting in an FMCG company.

Knowledge of accounting packages
Solid knowledge of SAP Accounting Software (is added advantage)
High standards of integrity
Analytical and enquiring mind
Strong attention to detail
