Job Description
The RETSO will lead the governance and operational structure around secured real estate credit, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines. This includes establishing valuation processes, managing mortgage and construction loan portfolios, overseeing third-party valuer performance, and implementing real estate analytics for credit decisions. The RETSO will also contribute to product development, market intelligence, and policy formulation while supporting risk control, credit quality, and regulatory conduct.

How to Apply
Build and enforce governance frameworks for secured real estate lending.
Manage credit risk and valuation standards for mortgages and SME loans.
Implement and monitor real estate appraisal programs and property valuation policies.
Oversee credit approval documents and mortgage portfolio reviews.
Establish and track property price indices and market trends.
Manage construction mortgage projects and coordinate stage inspections.
Evaluate and onboard valuers and monitor their performance and reporting standards.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders including developers, valuers, and regulators.
Conduct peer reviews, quality assurance, and portfolio monitoring.
Support risk and governance reporting and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Land Economics or Real Estate
Must be a registered member of the Valuers Registration Board
Experience:
Proven experience in real estate valuation, credit risk management, or mortgage portfolio management
Experience in vendor and contract management
Familiarity with property market regulations and risk control frameworks
Skills and Competencies:
Real estate analytics and risk portfolio management
Property valuation, peer review, and quality assurance
Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration skills
High ethical standards and professionalism
Proficient in market intelligence and regulatory compliance
Technical skills in appraisal tools and MIS systems
Competency in action orientation, collaboration, decision quality, trust-building, and customer focus
