Qualifications, Education and Competencies
The Quality Assurance Supervisor shall be responsible for overseeing and managing the quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance in the production of vegetable oil and soap products. The incumbent shall be supervising the QA team, conducting quality audits, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Lead and manage the Quality Assurance team, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluation. Ensure that all QA staff adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures for vegetable oil and soap manufacturing.
Conduct regular quality audits and inspections of raw materials, production processes, and finished products.
Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of quality assurance activities, including test results, inspection reports, and corrective actions.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement corrective and preventive actions to enhance product quality.
Collaborate with production team to optimize manufacturing processes and resolve quality issues.
Oversee laboratory testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
Ensure that all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained according to standard operating procedures.
Work with the sales and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with quality requirements.
Conduct training sessions for QA staff and production personnel on quality assurance procedures and best practices.

Bachelor’s degree in Food processing and Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in Quality Assurance (e.g. ISO 9001) are preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a quality assurance role within the food manufacturing industry, preferably in vegetable oil and soap production.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in using quality management software and MS Office applications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
