Job Description
Kampala Pharmaceutical Industries is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer to support the company’s Quality Management System and ensure full compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Implement, monitor, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines at all stages of production.
- Review and approve batch manufacturing records, validation documents, and quality reports.
- Conduct internal audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Manage deviations, change controls, CAPAs, and non-conformance investigations.
- Support regulatory inspections and audits by national and international authorities.
- Review and approve raw material, packaging, and finished product specifications.
- Oversee training on GMP and quality procedures for staff.
- Participate in product validation, qualification, and stability studies.
- Ensure proper documentation control and record retention.
