Job Description
Assisting the dentist in performing dental procedures, such as examinations, fillings, extractions, and preventive treatments.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assisting the dentist in performing dental procedures, such as examinations, fillings, extractions, and preventive treatments.
Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments and equipment.
Taking and developing dental x-rays.
Providing oral hygiene instructions and fluoride applications to patients.
Maintaining patient records and inventory of dental supplies.
Participating in community outreach and health promotion activities.

Qualifications and Competencies
Qualifications
Public Health Dental Assist Diploma in Public Health Dentistry (PHDA) with current practicing license.
PHDA to plan, coordinate, administer, and provide dental services at CFU medical center in Kamuli.
