Project Planning: Participate in project planning meetings to understand project objectives, timelines, and requirements. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to develop project plans and schedules.
Site Preparation: Assist in the preparation of construction sites by surveying, setting out, and marking the area for excavation, grading, and other construction activities. Ensure that site conditions are suitable for construction work to commence.
Construction Oversight: Supervise construction activities on-site, ensuring that work is carried out according to specifications, drawings, and quality standards. Monitor progress, resolve issues, and make decisions to keep the project on track.
Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure that construction work meets quality standards and specifications. Conduct inspections, tests, and audits to verify compliance with regulations and project requirements.
Safety Management: Promote a culture of safety on the construction site by enforcing safety protocols, conducting safety briefings, and ensuring that workers have the necessary safety equipment and training. Identify hazards and implement measures to mitigate risks.
Materials Management: Coordinate the delivery, storage, and usage of construction materials on-site. Ensure that materials are ordered in a timely manner, stored properly, and used efficiently to minimize waste and prevent shortages.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to construction activities, including daily progress reports, site diaries, inspection reports, and as-built drawings. Ensure that documentation is organized and up-to-date for future reference.
Subcontractor Management: Coordinate the work of subcontractors and external vendors on-site, ensuring that they adhere to project specifications, timelines, and safety requirements. Monitor subcontractor performance and address any issues or concerns that arise.
Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing inquiries and concerns, and soliciting feedback. Maintain positive relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and project success.
Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues or challenges that arise during construction, such as design changes, material shortages, or technical difficulties. Collaborate with project team members to develop solutions and implement corrective actions.
Budget Management: Assist in monitoring project costs and expenses to ensure that the project remains within budget constraints. Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend adjustments to the project plan as needed.
Environmental Compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permits by implementing measures to minimize environmental impact during construction activities. Monitor site operations to prevent pollution and protect natural resources.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of Three (3) years experience in Civil and construction works.
Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
