Job Description
The Project Manager – Execution will oversee all aspects of new equipment project delivery from the point of order intake to on-site execution and project closeout. The role demands strong technical project management skills, stakeholder management abilities, and leadership in a highly technical environment. You will be responsible for planning, execution, quality assurance, cost control, safety compliance, reporting, and risk management. The successful candidate must be adept at coordinating teams across geographies and removing roadblocks to ensure seamless project execution.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end project execution, from planning to site delivery and closeout.
Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are established before project start.
Lead quality assurance and maintain cost control according to agreed-upon baselines.
Deliver projects on time, within scope, and budget.
Support the project team by removing roadblocks and promoting competence development.
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
Manage scope changes and resolve conflicts efficiently.
Ensure consistent and timely reporting and system updates (SAP, GIB, SINCRO, OPD).
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Mandatory Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in project management.
Strong background in project execution and site coordination.
Knowledge of installation and commissioning challenges.
Familiarity with project financials and milestone tracking.
Fluent in English (French is an added advantage).
PMP or MI-PMP certification (advantageous).
Added Advantages:
Experience in the food & beverage or packaging equipment industry.
Strong stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
