Job Description
As a Project Engineer, you will assist in planning and executing capital projects and technical engineering tasks to support efficient, safe, and high-quality production in a manufacturing environment. You will work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to define technical needs, develop budgets, and manage project timelines. You will ensure that all engineering processes meet the highest standards for safety, food quality, and environmental compliance. The role includes managing projects from conceptualization to post-implementation and supporting preventive maintenance and continuous improvement activities.

How to Apply
Drive compliance with food safety and quality standards in all projects.
Lead installation and startup of new equipment or lines.
Execute productivity, innovation, and capital projects using Mondelēz standards.
Develop and manage capital budgets and forecast cash flow.
Ensure reliability and performance of plant equipment.
Enforce GMP, safety, and environmental standards in project execution.
Adhere to equipment SOPs and ensure centerline compliance.
Conduct risk assessments and enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols.
Investigate incidents, near misses, and ensure preventive measures.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors/OEMs for seamless execution.
Lead daily GEMBA walks and restore line standards.
Support process optimization and the rollout of best practices.
Liaise with Maintenance & Reliability Lead to implement PPM schedules.
Utilize MS Project and other digital tools for planning and execution.

HND or BSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a reputable institution.
At least 5 years’ experience in a process/production plant environment.
Project management certification is an added advantage.
Familiarity with IL6S/TPM methodologies.
Strong project management, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and understanding of P&ID and section diagrams.
Experience with component materials and process optimization.
Ability to work with internal teams and external stakeholders effectively.
