Job Description
Conduct regular field visits to health facilities, schools, and community activities to assess accessibility and inclusion of persons with disabilities in SRHR programming.
Start Date: 01st April,2026
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Monitoring Disability Inclusion in Project Activities:
- Monitor partner activities to ensure that interventions are inclusive of persons with disabilities.
- Conduct regular field visits to health facilities, schools, and community activities to assess accessibility and inclusion of persons with disabilities in SRHR programming.
- Ensure that partners integrate disability inclusion standards in planning and implementation of project activities.
- Identify barriers preventing persons with disabilities from accessing SRHR services and support partners in addressing them.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to partners to improve inclusive programming
Disability Disaggregated Data Management:
- Ensure that project data is systematically disaggregated by disability, sex, and age.
- Support partners to collect disability-disaggregated data using appropriate tools such as the Washington Group Questions where applicable.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of data reported by partners.
- Conduct regular data quality checks and support partners to address identified gaps.
- Maintain updated records on participation of persons with disabilities in project activities

Follow-up on Trained Health Workers and Teachers:
- Track and follow up with trained health workers and teachers to ensure application of inclusive SRHR practices.
- Monitor how trained personnel are collecting disability-disaggregated data within their institutions.
- Support trained staff to identify and refer persons with disabilities to appropriate SRHR services.
- Document good practices and challenges experienced by trained health workers and teachers in implementing inclusive approaches
Ensuring Translation of Trainings into Action:
- Monitor whether knowledge and skills gained from project trainings are applied in practice.
- Conduct post-training follow-up visits to assess the implementation of action plans developed during trainings.
- Support partners to implement improvements identified during training sessions.
- Develop simple tools to track implementation of commitments made during trainings.
- Document evidence of behavioral and institutional changes resulting from project trainings.
Accountability to Beneficiaries:
- Support the establishment and functioning of project accountability mechanisms.
- Ensure that feedback from beneficiaries, including persons with disabilities, is collected and addressed.
- Promote safe and accessible channels for communities to provide feedback on project activities.
- Ensure that feedback and complaints are documented, analysed, and responded to appropriately.
- Promote participation of persons with disabilities in project review and learning processes.
Learning and Knowledge Management:
- Document lessons learned and good practices related to disability-inclusive SRHR programming.
- Contribute to project learning products such as case studies, learning briefs, and success stories.
- Support periodic reflection meetings with partners to review progress and identify improvements.
- Share findings from monitoring visits to inform project adaptation and improvement.
- Contribute to internal and donor reporting related to accountability, inclusion, and learning
Coordination and Collaboration
- Work closely with project partners implementing PROTECT SRHR activities.
- Coordinate with technical specialists on disability inclusion and SRHR.
- Liaise with district stakeholders, health facilities, and schools to strengthen inclusive practices.
- Support collaboration between partners to promote shared learning and improved accountability.
Reporting:
- Prepare monitoring reports following field visits.
- Provide regular updates on disability inclusion performance.
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and donor reports.
- Maintain documentation of learning and accountability processes.
