The incumbent will be responsible to the Secretary for performing the following duties:-
Coordinating development and establishment of guidelines for research, planning and data management at the Secretariat in order to guide programme development for the Youth;
Providing technical support and guidance to the Districts and lower Local Government Councils in management of programmes and activities for the Youth;
Developing advocacy mechanisms to support initiatives and activities for the development of the Youth;
Providing technical support in reviewing of policies and guidelines for the implementation of programmes and activities for the Youth;
Developing practices, programmes and activities for participation of the Youth in overall economic development strategies;
Writing and reviewing funding proposals and organising fundraising programmes and drives to support programmes and activities of the Youth;
Networking with stakeholders for the achievement of development objectives of the Youth;
Managing performance of staff in the Division;
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
