African Evangelistic Enterprise – Uganda (AEE-U) is an evangelical Christian, interdenominational, non-Governmental, humanitarian organization that was established in Uganda in 1971 by the late Bishop Festo Kivengere.
AEE-U is an affiliate of African Enterprise International (AEI), an international evangelical and development agency operational in 10 African countries. The organization was incorporated in Uganda in 1984 as an Unlimited Liability company and is Registered as an NGO.
In our programs we work with the most vulnerable and marginalized members of the target communities such as children (both girls and boys), women, youth and persons with disability to make a long lasting impact on their lives while promoting the protection of their rights especially, the rights of children.

African Evangelistic Enterprise–Uganda (AEE-U) is an evangelical Christian, interdenominational, nonprofit making, humanitarian organization established in 1971. AEE-U is an affiliate of African Enterprise International (AEI), an international evangelical and development agency operational in 10 African countries.
In Uganda, AEE-U implements several holistic and transformative social action programs which demonstrate the love of Christ to vulnerable and marginalized communities. These programs include advocacy for Early childhood and primary education, water and sanitation, Vocational education, Health and HIV Education programs, Livelihood and climate-smart programs, community self-help groups and more. We are currently implementing programs in the districts of Kampala, Wakiso, Jinja, Luuka, Mayuge, Hoima, Masaka, Arua and Terego. African Evangelistic Enterprise-Uganda (AEE-U) is committed to the protection of children and adult beneficiaries from exploitation and abuse and will not employ people whose background is not suitable for working with these beneficiaries. All employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of all applicable background checks, including criminal record checks where possible.
We are now seeking for qualified and passionate individual willing to share in our vision and join the team in the following roles
Our Mission:
To evangelise the cities of Africa through Word and Deed in partnership with the church.
Ensure consistent community engagement of youths, parents, community leaders, partner schools, Community groups and relevant district authorities.
Facilitate establishment of youth centers, youth forums, Community Saving groups in support communities and ensure realization of planned out puts in annual plans.
Support training and supervise community volunteers for effective program management.
Develop activity budgets and provide accountability for resources as utilized.
Provide timely and accurate informative reports in agreed formats and timelines.
Build institutional capacity to enable communities sustainably attain better incomes, youth employment and education for children.
Closely work with established structures in community to ensure visibility of activities being undertaken.
Mature proper filing system with activity reports, attendance lists and pictures.
Participate in routine data collection to track progress of Education and livelihood initiatives within the program areas.
Liaise with consortium partners and other stakeholders to ensure the right beneficiary selection.
Ensure the assigned campaign methodology is properly followed and that program outcomes are met.

Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Counselling and guidance, Social Sciences, Social Work and Social Administration, Development, or other relevant fields required.
Experience in youth empowerment and community mobilization, with a minimum of 2 years’ practical experience working with young people.
Good knowledge of the logical framework analysis.
Familiarity with Food Security, Livelihoods and climate smart programming will be an asset.
Excellent (English) verbal and written communication skills. Language skills in either Lusoga or Luganda, highly valued.
Good computer literacy with a full knowledge of office
Good writing, communication, organization, prioritization and negotiating skills
Excellent teamwork abilities and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
Demonstrated flexibility, creativity, and enthusiasm as well as a willingness to learn and adapt.
Willingness to spend time in the field and work closely with program target groups.
Practical experience in working with local government officials.
Must possess a valid Motorcycle driving permit or show willingness to learn.
A mature Christian faith.
