Job Description
The Procurement Officer will play a vital role in the procurement of PET bottles to meet the company’s production demand. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers including scavengers and collection agents, ensuring consistent and sufficient supply while monitoring quality and cost-effectiveness. Temporary accommodation will be provided for the successful candidate.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Procure PET bottles from scavengers, collection centers, and individuals
Ensure the consistent supply of quality materials for recycling operations
Build and maintain a network of suppliers and partners
Monitor supply trends and adjust procurement strategies accordingly
Negotiate pricing and delivery terms with suppliers
Report procurement activities and maintain proper documentation
Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to manage the supply chain

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum of SSCE / GCE / NECO, NCE, OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
0 - 5 years relevant work experience in procurement or supply chain preferred
Good negotiation and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet supply targets
Willingness to relocate or work in Ogun State
Knowledge of recycling or waste management is an added advantage
