Job Description
Africa Safari Trips is seeking a dedicated Procurement Intern to join their team in Kampala. The successful candidate will support inventory management, procurement activities, and operational coordination to ensure efficient safari operations.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage inventory processes including purchasing, receiving, storage, and issuance of company items and spare parts.
- Monitor spare parts stock levels, maintain organized stores, and ensure timely reordering to support operations.
- Support procurement activities by sourcing quotations, reviewing supplie offers, and negotiating competitive prices.
- Receive and inspect goods to ensure compliance with required quality, quantity, and purchase specifications.
- Coordinate with transport and operational teams to ensure timely issuance of items and tools for safari operations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and reports using systems such as Google Sheets and QuickBooks while supporting process improvements and supplier management.
