Process Quality Engineer – Uganda Job at Spiro Uganda

Job Description
Spiro is looking for a Process Quality Engineer to ensure world-class quality across our electric motorcycle production.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain quality control processes across assembly, batteries, motors & wiring
- Monitor production quality and lead continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma)
- Conduct process audits and ensure ISO compliance
- Analyse defects, variations & inefficiencies; drive root-cause analysis and CAPA
- Standardize inspection & testing for materials and finished products
- Prepare quality reports, KPIs & maintain documentation (SOPs, control plans)
- Collaborate with Production, R&D and suppliers on quality issues
- Support NPD, PAP/APQP and ensure component traceability
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, especially lithium-ion battery handling
