Job Title: Process Artisan Mechanical

Job Summary:
As a Process Artisan Mechanical, you will report to the Team Leader Packaging. The primary role of the Process Artisan Mechanical is to operate the process area according to work instructions, execute non-destructive quality checks, and carry out routine and planned maintenance. The role focuses on asset care and supports shift-based teams in operational and technical problem-solving.

Operate and maintain machinery in accordance with work instructions and safety standards.
Adhere to the food safety (FSSC) requirements and Quality standards at all levels (local, international and CCBU policy). Report any works or anyone that compromises quality and food safety on site.
Perform routine and planned maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and inspections.
Conduct running repairs and troubleshoot equipment faults.
Coach and mentor operators on machine operation and autonomous maintenance.
Participate in technical meetings and escalate unresolved issues.
Support New Product Development (NPD) trials and ensure engineering changes are documented.
Adhere to food safety and quality standards (FSSC) and report any non-compliance.
Apply 5S principles and maintain a safe working environment.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and supply chain excellence.
Where running repairs cannot be carried out, communicates this to the Team Leader / Maintenance Planner to ensure the work is planned into the next planned maintenance window.
Participate in food safety management system implementation.
Report food safety, defense and fraud related issues to food safety team leader designate (SHEQ manager)
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and any other related field.
Minimum of 2 years relevant technical experience in an FMCG environment.
Strong understanding of equipment functionality and packaging processes.
Diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
Coaching and teamwork skills
Resilient, energetic, and results driven.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
