JOB VACANCY: Petty Cash Officer

Position Overview
WATU Credit is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Petty Cash Officer to manage day-to-day petty cash operations at the Kampala Head Office and provide support across all branches. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, planning weekly budgets, and ensuring compliance with internal financial processes.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the Petty Cash Unit at the Kampala Headquarters.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate records using spreadsheets and ledgers.
Assist in planning and preparing weekly petty cash budgets.
Review and finalize employee expense reports for reimbursement.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of petty cash expenses from all branches.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Finance Department.
