Job Description
The PPB Feature Analyst Graduate Programme aims to train graduates to become effective feature analysts who ensure business requirements are clearly captured, understood, and implemented by the development team. Key responsibilities include maintaining updated business and data rules, capturing epics, stories, and tasks on Jira, facilitating workshops, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring user needs are accurately reflected in the technology solutions. Graduates will participate actively in agile delivery processes, helping to manage sprint backlogs and ensure smooth project execution.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Capture and maintain up-to-date business and data rules.
Document Epics, Stories, and tasks in Jira and produce regular statistics and reports.
Clarify requirements and resolve ambiguity to ensure team understanding.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, UX, technology, testing, and support teams.
Create shared understanding among stakeholders regarding product functionality.
Develop analysis documentation based on elicitation sessions.
Identify activities required for backlog items ahead of sprints.
Manage blocked stories and adjust iteration priorities accordingly.
Facilitate and participate in discovery/inception workshops.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications:
Final year undergraduate, Honours, or Master’s Degree (Completed or currently completing in 2025) in:
Computer Science
Electronic Engineering
Informatics, Information Systems
Information Technology
Software Development
Software Engineering
Minimum Requirements:
Must be a South African citizen
Must be under 30 years of age
No more than two years’ work experience
Minimum 65% average across all years of study
