Position Overview

G4S/Allied Universal is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our team in Uganda. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and managing payroll for a large workforce, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all applicable laws and internal policies. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical abilities, a deep understanding of payroll systems, and excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing payroll in a fast-paced organization with a large workforce.

  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of Ugandan tax regulations, labor laws, and statutory requirements.

  • Skills:

    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • Certifications: Professional certification in payroll (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional) is an added advantage.
