Job Description
The Operations / Facility Supervisor will be responsible for the daily operations and upkeep of company facilities, supervising maintenance activities, overseeing contractors, and ensuring smooth functionality of all systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective and safe facility operations while coordinating renovation projects, energy-saving measures, fleet management, and regulatory compliance. They will also manage inventory, prepare facility reports, and support the Facility Manager on special projects.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Supervise maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and assets.
Drive service excellence and ensure compliance with health, safety, and sustainability standards.
Conduct and coordinate Preventive Maintenance Programs (PPMs).
Facilitate toolbox meetings and oversee waste management and operations.
Monitor equipment performance and manage emergency repairs.
Coordinate internal office moves and oversee facility fumigation.
Conduct random checks on company equipment and vehicles.
Schedule and manage vehicle repairs and fleet operations.
Maintain facility records and prepare reports for management.
Supervise facility staff and contractors.
Ensure health and safety policy compliance and manage emergencies.
Oversee building inspections and regulatory compliance.
Evaluate operational systems and propose improvements.
Maintain logs, fuel usage, maintenance, and driver records.
Hire and train contractors and service providers.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree in Estate Management, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Operations or Facility Supervisor.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of facility management software is a plus.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with building maintenance practices and regulatory standards.
Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
Good professional appearance, persuasive skills, and time management.
Must demonstrate ownership, pride, and an impact-driven mindset.
Residing in Abuja is mandatory.
