Job Description

The OMF Financial Consultant is responsible for offering advice on a specific range of financial products tailored to a specific customer segment. The successful candidate will be accountable for meeting set sales targets through proactive customer engagement, needs assessment, and relationship development. The role involves standard customer service activities, compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate CRM data, and supporting business development activities through referrals and prospecting. This is a customer-facing role that requires excellent interpersonal, communication, and consultative selling skills.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct standard customer service activities and resolve basic customer inquiries

  • Assess customer needs and provide solutions using a sales script and needs clarification techniques

  • Maintain and update accurate customer data and follow-up actions in CRM systems

  • Develop customer relationships through in-person and telephone calls

  • Support business development by identifying sales opportunities and generating referrals

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory codes, and internal conduct requirements

  • Participate in networks that support innovation and influence

  • Assist with ad-hoc business support and data input tasks
