Uganda Technical College – Kichwamba (UTC – KI) is a Public Tertiary Institution located in Kabarole District, 14 km on the Fort portal – Bundibugyo highway. It is governed in accordance to the Universities and Other Tertiary Institutions Act (2003) as amended. It offers programs leading to the award of National and Higher Diplomas in Engineering and ICT. The institution was established in 1947, as a resettlement of World War II veterans and as an Artisan Training Centre. In 1971, it was upgraded to the level of technical institute and in 1983, it later became a technical college.

Uganda Technical College - Kichwamba is a Public Tertiary Institution of Higher learning offering National Diploma and International Technical Certificates Courses in the Engineering fields. It reports to the Ministry of Education and Sports under the Department of TVET-OM.
It offers programs leading to the award of National and Higher Diplomas in Engineering and ICT. The institution was established in 1947, as a resettlement of World War II veterans and as an Artisan Training Centre. In 1971, it was upgraded to the level of technical institute and in 1983, it later became a technical college.
The Governing Council and Management are seeking to fill up the following vacancy. Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the following vacant position
Office Maintenance: Responsible for keeping the office premises clean, organized, and presentable. This includes tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and cleaning windows.
Stock Management: Monitor and replenish office supplies such as stationery, kitchen supplies, and cleaning materials as needed. This may involve placing orders with suppliers and managing inventory levels.
Mail Handling: Distribute incoming mail to the appropriate recipients and assist with outgoing mail, including sorting, stamping, and preparing packages for shipment.
Assistance to Staff: Provide general assistance to office staff, such as helping with photocopying, scanning documents, and setting up meeting rooms.
Errands: Run errands outside the office as required, such as purchasing office supplies or delivering documents.
Security: Maintain vigilance over office premises to ensure the security of the premises, reporting any suspicious activities or security breaches to appropriate personnel.
Waste Management: Dispose of waste and recyclable materials in accordance with office policies and local regulations.
Customer Service: Greet visitors, provide them with basic information or assistance as needed, and direct them to the appropriate personnel or office location.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks on office equipment such as photocopiers, printers, and coffee machines, and coordinate repairs with service providers when necessary.
Assist with Events: Assist with the setup and cleanup of events or meetings held within the office premises.
Documentation: Maintain records related to office maintenance activities, supply inventory, and other relevant documentation as required.
Adherence to Policies: Ensure compliance with office policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times.
