Job Description
As Off-Country Manager / Regional Expansion Manager, you will design and implement regionally tailored marketing and communication strategies in Nigeria (Yola and Abuja), Cameroon, and either Niger or Chad. You will localize brand messaging, lead public relations activities, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency across markets. This role requires bilingual fluency in English and French, strong understanding of regional consumer behavior, and the ability to coordinate complex, cross-border campaigns while managing stakeholder relationships and ensuring compliance with local norms.

How to Apply
Develop and execute regional marketing strategies across Nigeria and Francophone markets.
Manage cross-border public relations, including media relations and stakeholder communications.
Customize advertising content to reflect cultural and linguistic nuances of each region.
Monitor trends in consumer behavior and adjust strategies accordingly.
Establish and manage relationships with media partners, influencers, and local stakeholders.
Oversee production and distribution of multilingual marketing materials.
Analyze campaign performance and provide insights for improvement.
Collaborate with sales, digital, and creative teams to align marketing goals with business objectives.
Ensure seamless execution of campaigns across different geographies and departments.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
A Master's Degree or professional marketing/PR certifications (CIM, IABC, PRSA) is an added advantage.
Experience:
5–7 years of regional/international marketing, PR, or brand management experience.
Proven success in managing multilingual campaigns and brand strategies across African markets.
Prior experience in Francophone Africa (Cameroon, Niger, or Chad) is essential.
Skills & Competencies:
Bilingual fluency in English and French (mandatory); third language (e.g., Hausa, Fulfulde, or Arabic) is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication, storytelling, and public speaking skills.
Proficiency in digital marketing, analytics, and social media management tools.
High cultural intelligence and interpersonal skills across diverse markets.
Strong organizational, decision-making, and cross-border project management capabilities.
Other Requirements:
Willingness and ability to travel frequently to assigned regions.
Flexibility to work across different time zones and adapt to varying cultural contexts.
