Job Description

CSBAG is seeking a highly experienced and skilled HR Advisor to provide strategic HR support to our organization. As a Non-Resident HR Advisor, you will work remotely to provide expert guidance on HR-related matters.

HR Policy Development and Implementation:

  • Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices.

  • Advise on the implementation of HR policies and ensure that they are communicated effectively to staff.


Recruitment and Staffing:

  • Assist in the development of job descriptions and person specifications.

  • Advise on the development of employee development and training programs.

Compliance and Legal Advice:

  • Ensure the organization complies with labor laws and regulations.

  • Provide guidance on employment law issues, including contracts, terminations, and workplace safety.


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Advise on compensation strategies, including salary structures, benefits packages, and incentive programs.

  • Conduct market research to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices.


HR Data Management:

  • Assist in the management of HR information systems (HRIS) and ensure accurate record-keeping.

  • Provide insights and analysis of HR metrics to inform decision-making.


Remote Support and Communication:

  • Use digital tools and platforms to provide HR support remotely.

  • Maintain regular communication with management and employees through virtual meetings, emails, and phone calls.


Training and Development:

  • Design and deliver training programs on various HR topics, such as compliance, leadership development, and soft skills.

  • Support career development planning and succession planning initiatives.

Educational Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.

  • A master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) can be advantageous.


Experience:

  • Several years of experience in HR roles, with a broad understanding of various HR functions.

  • Experience in advising or consulting, particularly in a remote capacity, is highly desirable.


Knowledge of HR Practices:

  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.

  • Familiarity with HR technology and systems for managing remote HR processes.


Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to communicate complex HR issues clearly and effectively to a diverse audience.

  • Strong analytical skills to assess HR issues and develop effective solutions.

  • Ability to think strategically and provide practical advice.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and clients simultaneously.

  • Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records.

  • Flexibility to adjust to varying client needs and schedules.


Technological Proficiency:

  • Proficiency in using HR software, virtual communication tools, and other digital platforms.

  • Comfortable with remote work technology and practices.
