Job Description
The successful candidate will assist in all areas of the news department including reporting, scriptwriting, and digital content development. Interns will support journalists in compiling and broadcasting stories while gaining valuable field and newsroom experience. The internship includes opportunities to learn about newsroom operations, news story development, and the use of audio and video production tools. Ideal for recent journalism graduates, the role is designed to enhance professional skills and prepare candidates for careers in multimedia journalism.

How to Apply
Assist with daily functions in the news department
Learn to write and read news stories for different platforms
Support journalists in compiling stories for radio, online, and social media
Report from the field and participate in live news coverage
Operate studio and field production equipment
Contribute to general newsroom administration and coordination
Minimum Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Journalism or Media and Communications
Valid Code 08 Driver’s License
Competencies and Skills:
Exceptional writing and storytelling skills
Basic audio editing and multi-track mixing knowledge
Familiarity with field and studio production equipment
Awareness of current affairs and social media trends
Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
