Job Description
Maintain the inventory level for all equipment spares and consumables like lubricants, hardware etc follow up with the purchase department and supplier to get the required material in time Conduct periodic reviews of all quality functions and procedure for appropriateness and validity.
Conduct self-inspection and/or quality audits that regularly appraises the effectiveness and applicability of the quality assurance system Participate in the investigation of deviations
Duties and Responsibilities
Participate in the execution of mechanical installation works
Carry out day to day mechanical maintenance
Examine detailed drawings or specifications to find out material and equipment requirement Ensure that all machines and equipment are in proper working condition
Maintain up to date documentation including SOPs, Checklists, qualifications, validations and preventive maintenance
Supervise fabrication works
Prepare periodic reports to interact with manufacturing and QA in planning for alteration/ renovation
Maintain the inventory level for all equipment spares and consumables like lubricants, hardware etc follow up with the purchase department and supplier to get the required material in time
Conduct periodic reviews of all quality functions and procedure for appropriateness and validity
Conduct self-inspection and/or quality audits that regularly appraises the effectiveness and applicability of the quality assurance system
Participate in the investigation of deviations
Be involved in review of, and conduct water system validation, air handling unit validations and compressed air validation
Be responsible for proposing, carrying out impact assessment and implementation of changes through change control procedures
Conduct internal departmental training
Be responsible for proposing impact assessment and implementing CAPA as and when applicable
Be responsible for carrying out investigation for determining root cause of non-conformities (Root Cause Analysis)
Prepare periodic reports for the Line Manager
Any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time

Qualifications and Competencies
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or any other relevant course
Superior computer skills, with solid experience in RCM, RCA, CAD will be an added advantage
02 years+ demonstrable experience in mechanical engineering in a busy industrial set-up
Highly analytical mind, with exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Self-starter, flexible and able to work well under pressure at work
Able to work shifts whenever required
