The role involves overseeing the implementation of clinical mentorship and technical support for reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health (RMNCH) activities in the Mama Rescue program across Kasese and Kabarole Districts.

  • A bachelor's degree in nursing, midwifery, public health or a related field.

  • At least three years of relevant work experience in maternal and child health programs, preferably in rural settings.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in maternal and child health interventions, such as antenatal care, safe delivery, postnatal care, immunization, nutrition, family planning and referral.

  • Experience in training, supervising and mentoring community health workers and volunteers.

  • Proficiency in data collection, analysis and reporting using various tools and systems.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure in a dynamic environment.

  • Fluency in English and the local language of the target communities.
