Marketing Officer Job at Mstart Microfinance / Adon Business School
Mstart Microfinance / Adon Business School
Job Description
The Marketing Officer is a junior creative role focused on building our brands and driving student/client enrollment as well as growing the lending portfolio. You will bridge the gap between our high-level business strategy and the everyday visibility of our programs. Whether you are designing a curriculum brochure for the Business Mastery Program or launching a social media campaign for a new loan product, your goal is to communicate value in a way that resonates with Ugandan entrepreneurs and professionals.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Brand Development & Visual Identity
- Maintain and evolve the visual identity of our brands, ensuring all marketing materials—from logos to presentation slides—meet a high-end, professional standard.
- Design and produce “beautified” marketing collateral, including brochures, infographics, and executive briefings for board-level presentations.
- Transform traditional educational concepts into modern, “WeWork-style” visual narratives that appeal to forward-thinking business owners.
Digital Marketing & Content Creation
- Manage our social media presence (LinkedIn, Facebook, WhatsApp Business), creating engaging content that highlights our “hands-on” approach to business education.
- Draft and schedule recruitment ads and promotional posts for programs like the Data Masterclass and Business Mastery Program.
- Monitor digital engagement metrics and adjust campaigns to improve lead generation for the sales team.
Campaign Management & Lead Generation
- Plan and execute end-to-end marketing campaigns to drive enrollment for upcoming intakes and workshops.
- Coordinate “on-the-ground” marketing activations in key business hubs to support the Direct Sales team.
- Write compelling copy for email newsletters, website updates, and press releases.
Market Research & Strategy
- Conduct market research to understand the needs of Ugandan “builders, operators, and owners.”
- Monitor competitor offerings (other business schools and MFIs) to ensure our pricing and value propositions remain competitive.
- Assist in organizing corporate events, masterclasses, and networking sessions.
