Job Description
Reporting to the Global Learning and Development (L&D) Lead, the Manager Development Lead will be responsible for designing and executing a robust leadership development framework across One Acre Fund’s country programs. The position involves identifying capacity gaps, delivering effective management training, implementing data-driven learning strategies, and ensuring measurable performance improvement across diverse teams.
The incumbent will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders, to integrate leadership development into organizational strategy. The role requires creativity, strong facilitation skills, and an analytical mindset to deliver impactful, scalable learning solutions aligned with One Acre Fund’s mission to serve 10 million farmers by 2030.

How to Apply
Program Design and Delivery
Lead the design and delivery of manager training programs including onboarding, workshops, bootcamps, and one-on-one coaching.
Ensure that all programs are practical, results-oriented, and tailored to address organizational leadership needs.
Develop a manager development roadmap that aligns with One Acre Fund’s long-term talent and growth strategy.
Performance and Impact Measurement
Use data-driven methods (manager surveys, performance metrics, and participant feedback) to measure program effectiveness.
Continuously refine training content and delivery methods to ensure tangible improvements in management capability.
Maintain and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for learning outcomes and staff development impact.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
Work closely with country teams, HR leads, and department heads to ensure alignment between training initiatives and operational priorities.
Partner with external experts and consultants to design and deliver innovative learning solutions.
Build strong relationships with staff at all organizational levels to ensure program relevance and engagement.
Innovation and Learning Technology
Pilot and scale blended learning approaches using digital tools, e-learning platforms, and virtual collaboration technologies.
Stay abreast of global trends and best practices in leadership and management development.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
A postgraduate qualification or certification in Leadership Development, Adult Learning, or Organizational Psychology is an added advantage.
Experience:
At least 5 years of progressive experience in leadership development, talent management, or organizational learning.
Proven track record in designing and delivering management training programs across multiple countries or large organizations.
Experience using data analytics to assess learning outcomes and improve program performance.
Demonstrated experience in project management and stakeholder engagement.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS), e-learning tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
High degree of cultural sensitivity and ability to work across diverse teams.
Strategic thinker with attention to detail and ability to execute in complex environments.
Fluency in English (knowledge of French or Swahili is an advantage).
