Job Description

Join Jubilee Insurance and support legal advisory, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance in a dynamic insurance environment.

Jubilee Life Insurance Uganda is seeking a competent and motivated Legal Officer to join its team. The successful candidate will support the organization in legal advisory services, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance, ensuring that all operations align with applicable laws and industry standards.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Provide legal advice to management and various departments
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents
Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements
Support corporate governance processes and documentation
Liaise with regulators, external counsel, and other stakeholders
Assist in handling legal disputes and claims
Conduct legal research and provide timely updates on relevant laws and regulations
Maintain proper legal records and documentation
