Victoria University
Assistant lecturers at Victoria University are academic staff members who support the teaching and learning activities of the university. They are usually employed on a fixed-term or casual basis, and they may have a research component in their role. Assistant lecturers work under the supervision of senior lecturers or professors, and they are expected to contribute to the development and delivery of courses, assessments, tutorials, workshops and other learning resources. Assistant lecturers also provide feedback and guidance to students, and they participate in academic committees and professional development activities. Assistant lecturers at Victoria University have the opportunity to enhance their skills and knowledge in their discipline, and to pursue further qualifications or career advancement.
Responsible assistant lecturers at Victoria University are expected to perform a range of duties that support the teaching and learning of students. These include preparing and delivering lectures, tutorials, workshops and seminars; marking and providing feedback on assignments and exams; supervising student projects and research; and participating in professional development activities.

Applicants should be proficient in the fields of Pharmacy Practice and Pharmaceutical Sciences,Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Biochemistry, Medicinal Chemistry Pharmacognosy.
You must currently be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Uganda as a pharmacist.
A PhD and relevant teaching experience are required for Senior Lecturers.
