Job Description
ADM is seeking a Laboratory Intern for its Beverages division in Nairobi to support the research and development team. The successful candidate will assist in sample preparation, inventory management, and maintaining high standards of laboratory safety and hygiene.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining inventory in the lab by managing stock of chemical reagents and supplies.
- Support the preparation of raw materials and samples for R&D trials, shelf-life studies, and customer evaluations
- Participate in maintaining hygiene in the lab by ensuring a clean, organized, and safe laboratory workspace, including cleaning equipment
- Assist in the maintenance and calibration of lab equipment
- Participate in sample evaluation
- Handling sample dispatch process
- Support in product development
- Support in any other duties assigned by supervisor
