Job Description
The Key Account Officer will be responsible for managing and expanding high-volume client relationships, ensuring stock availability, executing sales strategies, and driving new business growth. The role requires close monitoring of sales performance, reporting, and implementing strategic sales plans to enhance business success in the designated area. Candidates should have proven FMCG sales experience and a solid understanding of the Nigerian retail and distribution landscape.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Exceed or achieve assigned monthly sales targets
Implement the annual business strategy in alignment with company goals
Develop and sustain long-term, strategic relationships with high-volume clients
Drive new business development within the assigned region
Submit daily sales reviews and performance reports
Ensure timely availability and replenishment of stock
Execute the route-to-market strategy efficiently
Monitor and analyze market trends to identify sales opportunities
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
BSc or HND in a Management course or any relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2–3 years experience in FMCG sales
Proven track record in route-to-market execution and sales management
Skills and Competencies:
Strong sales and negotiation skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Results-oriented and self-motivated
Ability to build and maintain strategic client relationships
Familiarity with the Lagos market and FMCG distribution channels
