Job Description
This role involves supporting the production of premium chocolate items in line with Lindt’s quality standards, engaging with customers to deliver the “Lindt Difference,” and contributing to boutique operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about confectionery, customer-oriented, and capable of maintaining high standards in product presentation and customer engagement. The Junior Chocolatier may also assist with classes for chocolate enthusiasts and will ensure the station and tools are well-maintained and organized.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Assist in the production of fresh line chocolate products
Facilitate the introduction of the Lindt Difference to customers
Ensure availability of all equipment and ingredients for production
Record the quantity of products used during production
Provide assistance to customers within the boutique
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations
Monitor and record stock levels as needed
Assist with banking and boutique operations in the absence of a Chocolate Advisor
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
Relevant qualification in confectionery (preferred)
Experience in the confectionery or hospitality industry
Competencies:
Passionate about chocolate and confectionery
Outstanding verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Well-presented and a strong brand ambassador
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Excellent customer service skills
Team player with a proactive attitude
