Job Description
As a Junior Agronomist, you will support the agronomy and crop science operations of the greenhouse. The role involves assisting with crop nutrition, irrigation strategies, pest & disease management, and ensuring sustainable and profitable production.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Working with the Lead Agronomist to support the planning and execution of crop cycles for Tomatoes & Bell Peppers.
- Maintain detailed records and provide regular reports on crop progress, challenges, and recommendations.
- Assist in implementing Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies to minimize crop loss.
- Collaborate with Growers and operations staff to ensure consistency in crop management.
- Stay informed about modern agronomy and hydroponic research trends.
