Job Description
As an IT Assistant at Guru Nanak R.S Hospital, the successful candidate will support end-users with technical issues, manage IT equipment and software, and assist in system upgrades and maintenance. How to Apply
Provide technical assistance to users via phone, email, or in-person
Install and configure computer hardware and software
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows operating systems and MS Office
Conduct preventive maintenance on IT hardware when necessary
Assist with basic network administration tasks
Perform system upgrades and ensure optimal performance
Maintain IT documentation and knowledge base
Train users on hardware and software usage
Education:
Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Networks and Communication Systems
Experience:
1–2 years of experience in a busy environment; hospital experience is an added advantage
Technical Skills:
Proficient in troubleshooting hardware/software issues
Knowledge of Windows OS, networking concepts, and basic hardware components
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication skills
Strong problem-solving ability
Good interpersonal and customer service skills
Well-organized with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
